VIROSA is a collaboration between three artists creating experimental film and image.

VIROSA is a collective voice working to expand the cinematic arts. We produce experimental narrative films, drawing influence from contemporary art practices and video games as well as the established film canon. We commit ourselves to formal risk-taking, knowing that the art of cinema is in a paradigm shift. 

VIROSA resists the unsustainable and unwieldy practices of Hollywood, aspiring to a new mode of “degenerate cinema.” We use hacked digital tools, game engines, and experimental photography to generate value beyond our limited financial resources. Founded in 2020—the year of the plague—
